Yuliia Lytvynova

I help startups find their first 1,000 happy users.

The short version

Product designer with 5+ years in AI and SaaS startups. I ship the v1, measure what matters, and iterate until activation curves go up and to the right. Currently Senior Product Designer at Redi Inc.

The longer version

I've been the first designer at startups, the solo designer at agencies, and the senior designer who rebuilt a product from scratch. Five years, 15+ companies, one constant: I figure out what to build before I open Figma.

I don't do design theater. No 80-slide decks that never ship. I research just enough to be dangerous, design fast enough to test this week, and code enough to speak engineering's language. Product design, UI/UX, brand identity, and front-end — whatever the product needs.

I got into design because I was frustrated by tools that didn't respect my time. That frustration became a career: making software that people don't just tolerate, but genuinely enjoy using.

How I work

I embed directly with engineering and product teams. I own the design end-to-end: research, strategy, wireframes, prototypes, visual design, and handoff. I write enough React to prototype in code when it's faster than Figma. I work in weekly sprints, ship to real users early, and use data to decide what's next.

Design philosophy

01

Ship, then polish

A shipped v1 teaches more than a perfect mockup. I get to real users fast, then iterate based on evidence.

02

Reduce, don't decorate

Good design removes friction. I focus on what to take away, not what to add.

03

Numbers tell the story

Every design decision connects to a metric. If it doesn't move the numbers, it doesn't ship.

Beyond the screen

When I'm not designing, you'll find me stress-testing every new design tool that launches, occasionally writing about what I learn, and spending an unreasonable amount of time with my cat (who definitely inspired the one following you around this site). Based in San Francisco, working globally.
